This Privacy Policy explains how Kairos(the “app”) operated by HonestyVision Limited(“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our app or visit our website.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use the app:

• App user ID — an anonymous user ID is created the first time you use the app, even if you never create an account.
• Name — collected when you create an account and used to display your name inside the app (not visible to other users).
• Email address — collected for account creation and to enable password reset functionality. Your email is not visible to other users.
• Onboarding answers — the features you pick during onboarding, and any free text you type there.
• In-app chat — the messages you write to us, together with your app user ID, your plan (free or premium), your app version, whether you have an account, and a device token used to notify you when we reply.
• Usage and crash data — usage events such as a workout being started, completed or abandoned, the sign-in method used and rating prompts, plus crash diagnostics.
• Purchases — your subscription status and purchase history, tied to your app user ID.

Sign-in: In addition to email, Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google are offered.

Payments: All payments and subscriptions are handled directly by Apple (App Store). We do not collect or store payment card details in the app or on our servers.

How We Collect Information

We collect the name and email you provide directly when creating an account in the app, along with the onboarding answers and in-app chat messages you write. Your app user ID, usage events, crash diagnostics and purchase information are collected automatically as you use the app. Workout data generated by you in the app is stored in Firebase and associated with your account.

Apple Health

With your permission, the app saves finished workouts to Apple Health — the start and end time, recorded as an interval training session. The app does not read any data from Apple Health. The information it saves there is not used for advertising and is not shared with third parties.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above for:

• Creating and managing your account.
• Allowing you to reset your password and recover access to your account.
• Displaying your name inside the app (only visible to you).
• Storing workout data so you can access it across sessions (stored in Firebase; only accessible by your account).
• Replying to your in-app chat messages and notifying you when we reply.
• Managing your subscription and access to premium features.
• Understanding how the app is used and which features people want, and diagnosing crashes, so we can improve it.
• Saving finished workouts to Apple Health, if you give permission.

Third-Party Services

The following third-party service providers process data on our behalf:

• Google Firebase — stores and retrieves your user-generated workout data, and provides analytics and crash reporting. It receives the usage events and crash diagnostics listed above.
• Crisp — provides the in-app chat. It receives the messages you write and the in-app chat information listed above.
• RevenueCat — manages purchases. It receives your subscription status and purchase history, tied to your app user ID.

If you choose Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, the sign-in is handled by Apple or Google. Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except:

• When required by law or to respond to lawful requests by public authorities.
• To third-party service providers that process data on our behalf (Google Firebase, Crisp and RevenueCat) under contract and for the purposes described in this policy.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account information and user-generated workout data until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from the delete-account screen in the app. If you can't access the app, contact us at contact@theworkouttimer.app. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing emailed deletion requests to prevent unauthorised removal.

Children

The app can be used by people of any age. The minimum age to download apps from the App Store is determined by Apple by region; we rely on Apple's store restrictions for minimum user age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, contact us and we will take steps to remove that information.

Security

Calls to Firebase are secured. We use commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@theworkouttimer.app. We will respond to requests in accordance with applicable law and after verifying your identity.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We do not use cookies for tracking within the app. If our website uses cookies in the future, we will disclose that usage clearly on the website.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
